The easiest way is to start with a demo on our systems (no own hardware required).
In addition we also offer a 30-days free trial to put SolusIO through its paces.
When using a CPU with 8 cores and hyperthreading, do I have to pay for 16 cores?
No, only the hardware CPU cores have to be paid. For example:
One server with one 8 core processor (activated hyperthreading) = 8 cores to be licensed
One server with two 8 core processors (activated hyperthreading) = 16 Cores to be licensed
What do I have to consider if I run more than 64 cores in one server?
If your server has more than 64 cores, you only need to license 64, since cores beyond do not need to be licensed. Nevertheless, all physical cores of this system can be used without restriction.
What’s the difference between SolusVM and SolusIO?
